Ever seen the original Thomas Crown affair ? Director Norman Jewison blew the audience away with it's uber-cool split-screen heist sequence. Some say it even stole the film from McQueen. This opening sequence from Grand Prix must come at least a very close second, and for petrolheads we suspect it's top dog. Feel free to let us know your favourite split screen sequence - we've a gut feeling there aren't actually that many out there.

So it's with sheer delight we discovered day in, day out, MPs who have to cross Westminster Bridge on their way into Parliament, get this gentle reminder.

Steve Jobs

We've been through the pain of windows based computers but managed to eject the last piece of malevolent junk from our offices 3 years ago. When I think of the previous 15 years of pain.... and then the "I told you so's" from countless friends who'd converted a decade ago. Typically, we went against the grain even in our own industry by using PCs. Thank Christ that bit of stubborn foolishness is behind us.

Anyway, thought we'd share the love when we came across this rare photo set (and no, we don't read the Fortune 500, a friend of a friend forwarded them to us...) of the man who brought us Apple. (That's quite enough sycophancy - Ed).

We confess to an eternal search for better sounding iPhone headphones (though not sure what the hell the point is if you're listening to mp3's) and think we may have found something approaching audio nirvana. We even like the name - Atomic Floyd. Can't seem to find them anywhere other than the Apple store or the manufacturer direct. No doubt we'll be told by our soundman that they're crap, but he's a miserable fart at the best of times.

In any case, if you've ever despaired at the sound from the £0.45p pair that came with your player, you can do a lot worse than these at £99.99. V-MODA Vibe Duo's are cheaper but we've had 'em fall apart on us - and the Apple headphones (£50ish) probably come a close 3rd.

If anyone out there's checked out the Klipsch Image S4i's please get in touch. They're next on the shopping list.

We pop in for a quiet meal in a backstreet restaurant and it all kicks off. Needless to say, the man can perform...
