Your first time is always special. And, equally, your first time watching this film is special. I still remember watching it and being transported to a new level for 8 minutes. When I finally found it on DVD, I grabbed it immediately. Fortunately, DVDs don't wear out with repeated viewing. When you watch this on a large screen TV you'll mimic Missy above: O...M...G!
I haven't done blow in decades... this film is as good. A must have for any self-respecting adrenalin junky car buff. The prize at the end isn't bad either.
Just fantastic
ONE word UNBELIEVABLE!!! You have to see it to believe it!
Passion, as so well demonstrated in Lelouch's classic, is the reason that the French and other lovers of life, drive motards around cities now.
Oh... my... God... !
Thank you!
and so good for me that "Un Homme et une Femme" was already made by this crazy man
I started braking in front of the telly!
The soundtrack alone makes this worth the money for any petrol. Then add in the unbelievable visuals and you've got yourself an incredible film.
outrageously insane
unbelievably orgasmic
Cetait un Rendezvous is a maverick one off that can and will never be replicated without artificial means. A historic anomaly of film making. Anyone with a minute interest in driving will have goosebumps watching this gearstick hero run redlight
An eight and one-half minute intravenous adrenaline drip! Porno for gear-heads. Buy it now.
Maurice Trintignant drives round Paris.More exciting than Monaco GP(Maurice drove to win the race in the year 1955)
Had just returned from Paris when I saw this film playing at a museum shop, bought same, have watched it over and over.. Found myself laughing, eyes filling up, adrenalin high. The shifts, the winding engine... Fulfilled an old man's fantasy.....
It get's better everytime i watch it. And i thought it was amazing the first time...
A complete adrenalin rush of orgasmic highs all through it a trillion times better than cgi shit of fast and the furious and others
None of the reviews was exaggerated.
Every time I watch it I cringe in anticipation of the thrills.
And nothing has justified my home theatre system more than this soundtrack!
Buy it and show all your car friends...
This is more exciting than driving my 1947 MG TC at 80+.
As pure as the train that first pulled into a cinematic station, you feel like you've never seen movement before.
If all of you found this fabulous, can you even begin to to imagine how I feel? I was born and bred in Paris and the bugger has just driven up Avenue Junot past my front door... These are not goosebumps on my skin, they're f**king mole hills...!!!
Mentally addictive, and a pure rush of horsepower.
This is one amazing film. The sound of the motor alone gives you goosebumps and then the driving puts it over the top. Modern car chases can't hold a candle to what you see here.
I am regional sales manager for Daimlerchrysler Chicago based. I also drove all of the hot cars we make, including the track cars.this single 9 minute movie is the best I have ever seen. When I need to get motivated, I turn it on.
Guys, do you want the real truth about the movie making? Just check out Claude Lelouch's web site at the following link

Then you'll get the whole picture and some better knowledge in French ;)
A must see for all petrol heads. ive only watched about 2 minutes of it. but it was absolutely EPIC! highly reccomended!
All of the above simply adds to the myth surrounding this classic film. It's still one of my treasured possessions, along with a first-generation video of Climb Dance which would also make a fantastic DVD...
