  • Arafat Poisoning results - Suha exclusive

President Arafat and his widow, Suha Arafat, breaks down in "The Price of Kings"President Arafat and his widow, Suha Arafat, breaking down in The Price of Kings

  • Finally... The Ministry of Truth ?

It seems like only yesterday we were romping through Parliament grilling MPs on why there needs to be a public right to recall members of Parliament.

And after much sniggering, arm waving and gnashing of teeth from both MPs, Ministers and civil servants the Bill we introduced fell on it's second reading (despite the film being the BBCs top rated political documentary of the year), "Never have so many MPs ducked and run for cover... utterly compelling" The Daily Telegraph.

Finally it seems Nick Clegg has cottoned on and promised to introduce the right of recall... let's see what Parliament delivers.

  • Rendezvous in Vienna

Who knew there were so many Rendezvous fans in Austria ?

Congrats due to Dan Ebner and the team at Vienna Independent Shorts Film Festival - there aren't many festivals with the cojones to screen a banned, one take, 9 minute film without dialogue made in 1976. Dan took this shot of a packed house before the screening and reported the audience went wild.

If you've been lucky enough to have seen it on the big screen with a full on sound system you'll know what an insane trip it is... especially that sound.

Check it out on the trailer with a decent set of headphones and the volume cranked up.

  • Lubrication at it's best

    Peace Oil

We're loving this lubrication for the Middle East conflict - even the very thought of it, let alone the taste.

Meanwhile it's a bona-fide prize-winning extra virgin olive oil grown by Arabs, Israelis, Bedouins and Druze working together in the Carmel Mountain foothills with profits supporting peace and reconciliation work in the region.

Needless to say, we've agreed to help get it out there (after the heartaches, trials and tribulations of making films 1 & 2 on Presidents Arafat & Peres from The Price of Kings series, it'd be hard not to do some small thing).

In any case, outside of all the good karmic stuff, it tastes fantastic and you can order it here. It even had us dusting off our ancient recipe for vodka vinaigrette (email us if you'd like a copy!).
